Music — Peterson Cheng

I recently did a cover of a Tori Kelly song! For someone who has only recently begun singing (since late summer/fall of 2013), I feel like only recently have I begun to understand what it means to have consistent breath and vocal control. Also I felt like I had to muster up a lot of courage to even try a Tori Kelly song. I began shooting other takes but instead of getting anxious or trying too hard to do a picture perfect version of it, I just decided on posting this first take. I think it kind of captures where I am right now in my journey to become a singer - mistakes, performance awkwardness, and all!

To my surprise it turned out mostly okay! It definitely wasn't perfect and I can still get anxious picking it apart, but for the most part I'm proud of myself and hope to continue improving!
